Charlestown City Blue FC is a football (soccer) club based in Highfields a suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales.

Formally known as Azzurri FC the club merged with local neighbours Charlestown United in order to try and meet the requirements of the 2009 NBN State Football League requirements, forming a new club called Charlestown Azzurri.

Unfortunately, this merger, and the making the 1st Grade Grand Final in the 2008 season was not enough, and Azzurri FC were relegated to the New FM 1st Division for 2009.

The club officailly changed their name to Charlestown City Blues FC in 2010.

In 2011 CCB were again in the NEWFM Division, the club were very successful gaining the Minor and Major Premierships in both 1st Grade and Under 19's. The under 23's finished the season strongly to finish 4th and went on to win the Grand Final.

As a result on the minor premiership in first grade, Charlestown City Blues were granted promotion to the NBN League for the 2012 season, and back in the top tier where they belong.
